Eating at du Fermier is a little like eating at someone’s home.

Annie creates a seasonal menu each weekend. Sometimes, the dishes are plated, sometimes shared, and always, they revolve around what is being harvested from the garden or taken from the store cupboard. The food is based on classic French farmhouse dishes that are to be enjoyed with friends and family.

Our 4-course set menu is $130 per person and can be enjoyed with matched wines from our carefully procured wine list for an additional $80 per person.

du Fermier is open Friday and Saturday lunch and dinner only for September and October.

November

The restaurant will not be open for the month of November. Instead, Annie and Susan are delighted to be offering some different experiences for the month. These will include some of our much loved Petit Marche Saturday mornings and Sunday garden days at Babbington Park. We know that this will not please everyone, but as a tiny business, it is hard to fit everything in. Please remember that we plan to be around for a long time, and thus, we need to recharge our batteries and keep feeding our creative spirits. Please subscribe to our mailing list to be informed of upcoming events.

We are located at 42 High Street Trentham. (view map).

Due to the restaurant's set menu, advance notice is essential for all dietary requirements. If dairy consumption is a concern for you, we suggest that you reflect upon your reservation. Annie’s French Farmhouse cooking often features the use of responsibly sourced organic dairy products.

*A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.

Upcoming Holidays

Annie will be appearing at the Bolobek Garden Fair on the 4th and 5th of October and thus the restaurant will be closed.
